I was surprised when the racks in my dishwasher started to disintegrate. The washer is less than 3 years old and doesn’t get heavy use. I was also surprised when I saw the cost of the manufacturer’s replacement racks — close to $100 for the bottom rack alone. So, when I saw this product, it seemed worth a try.It was easy to apply (Seller sent very good instructions by email). I have dark grey racks and the color was a good match. The goop adheres well and dries quickly. I used 2 coats, as recommended, and have been running the dishwasher for about month now. The stuff seems to be holding. My only wish is that I’d caught the deterioration sooner. (I had a couple of spots where the plastic was gone entirely, exposing rusting metal. In those locations, I used an extra coat.) The caps are a snug fit and sometimes a challenge to get on, but once on, they stay there.
